MEMBERSHIP OF THE CLAN MACRAE SOCIETY Membership is open to all who share our interest in the MacRaes, their history and traditions. Our subscription rates are very modest:
Applications, with a cheque payable to 'The Clan MacRae Society', should be sent to the Secretary. Annual renewals are due in January of each year. Members benefit from free admission to Eilean Donan Castle by courtesy of the Conchra Trust, and receive the Society's Newsletter twice each year. Contributions to the Newsletter are always welcome and should be sent to the Editor. Members also have access to the Society's genealogical records and are eligible to attend the Annual Spring Lunch in the Castle. The Office Bearers of the Society are:
In addition, the Society has a committee of members, based around Inverness, and this meets on a regular basis. This remote location precludes the participation of many, but members are encouraged to become involved in the affairs of the Society in a number of ways and sub-committees are formed in other areas to handle a range of issues. |
