hello Richard

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Was not able to find your grandfathers birth but I may have found your GG grandfather. He was born on the 19th March 1884 his parents are given as Kenneth MacRae and Annie MacQueen. I then looked up the marriage for KM & AM and found an entry for the 3rd October 1879 ( Nairn)
Kenneth's parents are given as William? MacRae and Isabella McKenzie Annie's parents are James MacQueen and Jane Rose. Also found Brodie in the 1901 census, working as a farm servant in Croy and Dalcross. If you think that this may be your family I will be happy to send you the copies of the cert. if you give me your add.

Kind Regards
Frances MacRae
