Help needed!! My descendent Thomas Rae was shipped to Australia in 1835 convicted of embezzlement. His Native place being Edinburgh. I am very interested in his family. His father James Rae was apparently a Sheriff of Linlithgowhsire and I was wondering if there was any paperwork I could get on this. His mother Mary Ann Burgh they were married 1803 Edinburgh Parish. His brothers and sisters are as follows: Mary Ann, Elizabeth (I believe she married James Stewart - Clynder House), John, Harriet, Alexa, Henrietta McKenzie Rae, Alexander, Catherine, Helen, Jessie Jane Rae, William. Most I believe were born Linlithgow. I haven't been able to find these people or my Thomas (birth) on any Census or marriage or death websites and I was hoping somebody could shed some light. Thank you Karen
