My Grandmother was a McRae "Rae" Her father came to America after marring a woman that his family did not approve of dropping the Mc and keeping the Rae. She married a Welsh/Scottish man (Morgan) Our family history is very important to us and we are looking for our family set of bagpipes. These carried the McRae pattern plaid and were sold around the Flint Michigan area sometime in the mid 60's to 70's. We have looked for years and finally got a family member to admit they sold them along with other items from the family farm around that time. NO matter what the condition we would like the opportunity to get them back into the family. Music and art is long in our family history and recently my brother is learning to play the pipes. We would like to carry these pipes down through our family as they were intended when brought over.
Thanks for any help,
Lynn
