It was August 2003 that the Clan MacRae web site was launched, and three years later, the site is attracting more visitors than ever.
Previous years had seen around one person per day join the Clan MacRae Mailing List, and this trend has continued for another year, resulting in the milestone of 1000 people being subscribed as at August 2006. The number of people using the Clan MacRae Forum has also increased dramatically, with around 500 people now contributing to over 250 discussions, an increase of 300 people in the last 12 months.
Perhaps the biggest surprise, however, is the increase in the number of visitors to the site. The number of pages requested rose from 65,000 in May 2006 to 165,000 in June, and up to 168,000 in July. This is predominantly due to our reporting of the Scottish & Southern pylon proposal and the link to our web site from the BBC web site.
Finally, the most popular time for anyone to be looking at the web-site is between 9:00pm and 10:00pm on a Monday evening!
