Clan MacRae Society of North Americas President, John MacRae-Hall, has announced that finally, Lord Lyon has provided the graphic representation of their Arms. He unveiled the image at the Annual General Meeting in Linville, NC in July.
The Arms will be used on all NA Society publications and on letterheads, envelopes, etc. A crest will be designed from the Arms, featuring the forearm with basket-hilted sword and motto. The motto itself is both a play on the United States motto and an allusion to our own history: From One to Many, a fitting motto for the Scattered Children of Kintail.
As the rules surrounding the display and use of the new Arms have yet to be recorded, it cannot be shown here but we hope to display it in future newsletters.
