Recent visitors to Eilean Donan Castle would have noticed a number of improvements to their experience following several changes made by the Castle Keeper.
New areas have been opened to visitors within the castle plus new exhibits on display. The range of food available at the Coffee Shop has been greatly expanded, with a selection of basics such as bacon rolls, sausage rolls etc. being added to a good selection of hot main meals, changed frequently.
Further changes to be made include an extension to the Gift Shop, with the present L shaped building becoming a U shape. The extra space will provide a much needed toilet block, a new entrance and storage for the shop.
